I make prints about stillness. Not the kind that happens to you; the kind you choose.

The work

Black and white linocut, printed by hand in small editions. Women, foxes, sparrows, botanicals. Figures under bell jars — not hiding from the world, but claiming a moment of their own inside it.

Every print begins as a block of linoleum and a knife. What you see is what survived the cutting.

How it started

I started carving because I needed it myself. I was rushing, always onward, and I wanted to stop. Not forever, just for a moment. Linocut forced me to. It demands full attention, and full attention turned out to be exactly what I was missing.

That's what I hope these prints do on a wall: hold a small, quiet space open. A reminder to step into the moment instead of racing past it.

My linoprints are not for when the house happens to go quiet. They are for choosing the quiet yourself. Because there's a difference between living your days and merely getting through them.
